The SAGU Testing Center offers a variety of tests, each with unique requirements and fees.

College-Level Examination Program

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) gives students the opportunity to receive college credit for information that is already known by earning qualifying scores on any of the 34 examinations. For more information about the CLEP test click here

  • Cost: CLEP registration fee + $25 proctor fee
  • Students must register for CLEP examinations on the official CLEP website. All CLEP costs will be processed through College Board.
  • Students must bring two forms of identification (Driver’s License, Photo I.D., School I.D., Military I.D., etc.)
  • Student must bring printed CLEP voucher.
  • The student will need to contact the testing center, at least 2 days before wanting to take the exam, in order to schedule an appointment.

Accuplacer

The purpose of the Accuplacer test is to provide students with useful information about academic skills in math, English, and reading. The results of the assessment, in conjunction with a student’s academic background, goals, and interests, are used by academic advisors and counselors to determine course selection and is also used in the admissions process.   • Cost: $25 testing fee
  • Students must bring in a Photo I.D. (Student I.D., Driver’s License, etc.)
  • The student will need to contact the testing center, at least 2 days before wanting to take the exam, in order to schedule an appointment.

Proctored Exams

Non-SAGU Student Testing: Members of the community can take advantage of the SAGU testing center. If a student is in need of scheduling an exam, they will need to contact the testing center at least 2 days before the desired date. The student must also have their professor contact the testing center in order to deliver the exam, and to also provide any special instructions for the proctor and student.

  • Students must bring in a Photo I.D. (School I.D., Driver’s License, etc.)

Graduate Comprehensive Exam

Some Graduate programs require a Comprehensive Exam in the student’s final semester. The Testing Center offers in-person proctoring for these exams, if needed.
