About the Learning Centers
The SAGU Learning Centers exists primarily for the purpose of instructional assistance. It has been established by the University in harmony with its commitment to academic excellence. Consisting of the Math Center, the Writing Center, and the Achievement Center, our Learning Centers are open to all students to facilitate their learning experiences. Our student-mentor staff excel in academics, have completed a thorough application and interview process, and have gone through extensive training. Many of them have been – or currently are – SAGU students. Their familiarity with SAGU’s culture, the professors, and various class and degree program structures (Turabian? MLA? APA? – they know how to help you!) enables them to relate to our students and gives them unique insight when helping students with their course material. Services include individual and group sessions as well as academic skills development. If you would like to make an appointment, give us a call or send us an e-mail and we will be happy to help you!
