James L. Barnes Student Center: The Student Center houses student mailboxes via the Mail Center, the Copy Center, as well as many other services.

All University mail is distributed by the Campus Mail Center located in the Barnes Student Center. Boxes are provided to all on-campus students and tenants of Regents Apartments for non-business use. Students desiring a box for business purposes may rent a box from the Campus Mail Center. Students should regularly check their mail boxes for in-school communications and mail. At the time of check-in all students living on campus will be issued a suite box if desired. The Mail Center services student needs by selling stamps along with the ability to send packages through USPS.

Mail Center Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Summer and Holidays 8:00 – 4:30

Mail is delivered to the boxes by 1:00 pm daily.
Departmental mail is delivered between 1:00 pm-3:00 pm daily. (M,W,F during the Summer).

In order to process mail efficiently, all mail must have a suite box number with the a complete address.

How do I know if I have received a package?
When we have received a package addressed to you it will be checked in and an email will be sent to your Lionmail account. Please bring a copy of the email and your Student ID to pickup your package. We will scan the ‘received’ barcode and have you sign for the package.

Can a friend pick up a package for me?
Students are prohibited to pick-up other individual’s package without written consent via the receiver’s Lionmail account. To consent for another individual to pick-up your package please e-mail [email protected].

What do I need to do if my name has changed?
Please come by the Mail Center and complete a form so we can update your personal information.

What do I need to do if I need to close my suite box, i.e. moving off campus, graduating?
You will need to complete a box closure form located at the Mail Center and turn in your suite box key if one was assigned.

How can I pick up a package after window hours?
We offer Overnight Boxes. Please email the Mail Center during business hours and ask to have your package placed in the overnight box.
