Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the Work as Worship conference hosted by the Business Department on Friday, February 22nd.

Thousands of business professionals from across the country view this conference to hear from renowned speakers about connecting our faith and work.

“The whole premise is that no matter what you work at, whatever your profession is, whatever job you do, it should be done as unto the Lord,” Dr. Shelly Zaldivar, Business Department chair and professor, says.

Experts like Francis Chan, John Acoff, and Steve Green, the president of Hobby Lobby, are just a few of the speakers that explain and encourage tactical ways to live out faith in all kinds of settings.
Zaldivar says that people have the opportunity to minister to people every day, whether it be in church or in the workplace.

“For some people, you’re the only Jesus they’re going to see,” she says. “I hope that for students, faculty, staff, and our partners it’s just a reminder and encouragement of how great their impact potential is.”

The one-day livestream event will be shown in the Hagee Communication Center, and will run from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Registration is $30, and lunch will be provided.
