The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer team lost a tough one Thursday night in San Antonio, TX , at Our Lady of the Lake University , 0-10. The Saints pressed the ball down the field causing the Lions to not have an answer for their high paced offense. OLLU had 44 shots total and 31 on goal, netting 10 out of the 31. They scored six of those goals in less than 20 minutes of play in the 1st half. Sarah Palmer did what she could saving 21 of the shots being forced on her all night. The Saints had four student-athletes with five or more shots; Dawson Brinkley led the way with nine shots and four goals, Erica Robertson and Cherylen Chavez each had two goals. OLLU is 3-1 on the season after this game and ranks 2nd nationally for shots on goal per game, 3rd for goals per game and 3rd for shots per game.
