The Lady Lions defeated Oklahoma Panhandle State University in three straights sets in Goodwell, OK . This is Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball teams 8th straight win to keep in 1st place in the Sooner Athletic Conference. They have been almost perfect in the past 6 matches winning 5 matches 3-0 and 1 match 3-1, 18-1 during those 6 games. They are playing just as good as anyone in the country right now and it will be a hard task to overcome for anyone stepping on the court right now against the Lions.

The Lions opened up well on the road winning set 1 25-12, set 2 was not far behind with a 25-16 advantage then ending it with a closer 3rd set 25-22. Kali Shaw stays consistent with 19 kills on 37 swings and only 2 errors hitting a .457% for the night. She had 10 digs, as well as, Sophia Ivy to go along with her 36 assist to her teammates. Celi Bruce had an impressive night with 0 passing errors and 17 digs. Rounding out the night was hitter Suzzany Figueiredo who added 14 kills on their short night hitting .333%.

SAGU plays a highly anticipated game to continue their conference schedule. They are in Plainview, Texas against Wayland Baptist University who currently sits in 4th place with a record of 3-1. The game will begin tomorrow morning at 11 am.
