The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball team faced off against #1 seed Oklahoma City University (OCU) in the Semifinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Tournament. OCU got off to a hot start and dominated the first set 25-16. The next two sets went down to the final points; a late rally by the Lady Lions wasn’t enough in the second set as OCU won 25-23, but the Lady Lions pulled out a win in third set 26-24. OCU took the fourth and final set 25-14, the Lady Lions gave them all they could handle in the second and third set but couldn’t pull off the comeback. The Lady Lions finish the season 11-7 and adds another winning season to the record books.
