Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball team Texas Wesleyan University Sooner Athletic Conference

Statistically, the Lady Lions struggled to keep up with the Lady Rams.  However, they kept battling and won two sets (the second and forth), forcing the game into a full five sets (25-15, 18-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-10).

SAGU had five players in double digits with digs.  Senior Emmalee Smith had 20, senior Caitlin Paschall had 18 digs, senior Katie Ryan added 16 and freshmen Celi Bruce and Kali Shaw each added 12.

Paschall also had 35 assist for the Lady Lions.  Shaw led in kills, earning 16 kills for the contest.  Freshman Faith Pittman and sophomore Summer Skillern each had nine kills.

Currently, SAGU is tied for fourth place in the SAC.  On Friday, October 9, 2015 the Lady Lions will travel to play a conference game at Mid-America Christian University.  MACU is 2-5 in SAC play. On Saturday, they will play Oklahoma City University.   OCU is currently ranked no. 23 in the nation.  They are also the top team in the SAC.
