SAGU Sophomore Midfielder Evelyn Cabral

Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City University (OCU) hosted Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) match at 5:00 pm on Saturday at Brian Harvey Field on the campus of OCU. OCU (8-6-0, 4-2-0) scored two goals in the first half and one in the second half to defeat SAGU (2-12, 0-6) by a final of 3-0.

Lady Lion Review

  • Natalia Torres (JR/Royse City, TX) , Alyssa Muir (FR/North Richland Hills, TX) , and Evelyn Cabral (SO/Dallas, TX) each had a shot for SAGU during the match. Cabral had the Lady Lions best opportunity to score on the evening.
  • Sarah Palmer (SR/Grapevine, TX) faced 13 shots-on-goal and finished with 10 saves.

The Next Step

  • SAGU will once again step away from the SAC for a Tuesday match against the NCAA Division III opponent University of Dallas beginning at 7:30 pm at the University of Dallas campus. On Saturday, October 26 th , SAGU will play SAC conference leader John Brown University
