The Lady Lions season ends with a loss to Southwestern Christian in the semi-finals of the NCCAA Regional Tournament . The winner of this game faces Mid-America Christian for the championship of the three-team regional. MACU vs. SCU will play at 6 pm, 3/7 with the winner being an automatic qualifier for the NCCAA National Tournament in Indiana .

The Eagles got out to a 23-39 lead against the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) team, the Lady Lions won the second half 45-37 but the first half was too much of a decent for them to come back from; final score 68-76.

Tamera Derrough had her first 20 point game in her career at SAGU going 8-17 from the field and 4-7 from the 3-point line for a total of 24 points. She was also tied for the most offensive rebounds by a Lion with three and a total of five rebounds. Sydney Meador and Lexi Rich both had double-digit outings with Meador scoring 11 and Rich chipping in 10. DyTeesha Diggles led the Lady Lions with seven rebounds and Eva Atunuwa had a game-high of three steals. The Eagles were led by Carley Frymire and Amy Tully who both had 18 during the national qualifier.

The Lady Lions will hit the offseason looking to build off the best season in eight years, 21-12 overall and 14-8 in the Sooner Athletic Conference .
