Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s basketball Dallas Christian College

SAGU jumped out to the early lead and set the pace for a 100 point game quickly.  By halftime the Lions were in the lead 48-33.

The Lions were led by senior Keyunta Watkins who scored 23 points and four assists. Kentton Williams had 21 points and five assists. Lance Tipton scored 13 points. Josh Williams had seven assists and eight rebounds.

On Saturday, November 3, 2016, the Lions will begin Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) play when they travel to take on Texas Wesleyan University .  TWU is currently 7-1 after suffering their first loss to Wiley College , 70-61.  SAGU is 1-1 against Wiley College.

TWU is currently ranked no. 20 in the NAIA.  SAGU is also receiving votes in the NAIA national rankings.
