SAGU’s rotation was a bit different due to injury, “We ran a 6-2 offense with Emmalee Smith and Jennifer Strawn as setters.  Emmalee had a double / double with 12 assist and 14 digs. Jennifer Strawn played really well and had 16 assists,” says head coach Hank Moore .

Madison McClure led the Lady Lions with eight kills against DCC.

In the second match of the day, AC toppled SAGU in three straight sets.  “We really struggled getting the ball in system and they took advantage of our lack of offense and defense,” explains Moore, “This is one we will learn from and move on to our next opponent.”

Senior Katie Ryan led SAGU with 12 digs. Kali Shaw had 11 digs, followed by Emmalee Smith with 10.
