Southwestern Assemblies of God University volleyball University of Science & Arts-Oklahoma

The Lady Lions were led by junior-transfer Paulyae Dawkins , who had 14 kills on 26 swings for a hitting percentage of 500. Kali Shaw had another double/double with 14 kills and 11 digs. Celi Bruce led the Lady Lions defensively with 20 digs.  Freshman Sophia Ivy had 34 assist.

As a team, SAGU hit for a .261 hitting percentage.

SAGU is currently placing sixth in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a record of 5-5.  Overall, the young SAGU team is 13-11.  USAO is currently 1-11 overall and 1-9 in the SAC.

The Lady Lions will take a week-long break from action.  They will host Oklahoma City University on Friday, October 14, 2016.  This will be SAGU’s second time in as many weeks to play OCU.  OCU is currently undefeated in the SAC and ranked no. 13 in the NAIA.
