The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball team is excited to announce the signing of Emma Tompkins for their 2019 class. Emma is a 6’ middle hitter/ right-side hitter from Waller High School . At Waller, she has had an impressive 222 kills with a .283% hitting percentage during the 2018-2019 campaign. She also put together 16 blocks and 32 assists for her senior season and helping her team to an 18-12 record so far. She also played club ball with XCEL Volleyball Club out of Kingwood, TX near the Houston area.
Coach Hank Moore explains, “Emma will be a great addition to our 2019 team. She is a great player and an even better young lady. She will be a perfect fit for our campus family. Emma is an excellent student that love Jesus. She serves in her church on the praise and worship team amount many other capacities of service to The Lord. We are very proud that she has selected SAGU as her University of choice.”
Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.
