"What a season! Nine school records were set by five individuals this spring and these kids have so much more in the tank,” exclaims head coach Jason Covarrubias, “It take three years to set the tone for a program and as we close out our third complete year, the fruit is beginning to show. This is just the tip of the iceberg for every one of these kids.  They make me proud."

Jose Campos and Adrian Cedillo started the meet off with the 3000m Steeple Chase.  This was the first running of the steeple chase in school history.  Campos finished in 8th place with a time of 10:56.17 and Cedillo crossed the line in 10th place at 11:21.06.

Eric Jones broke his own 400m SAGU record with a time of 53.76.  Campos also competed in the 400m dash on a short rest and set a personal record with the time of 54.48.
