"I am very proud of these guys!  We came in with a plan to hit the 34:15 qualifying time for the NCCAA and these guys were right on the pace.  Robert crushed the last 1.2 miles, which allowed him to qualify for nationals!  Adrian fell off the pace late and just couldn’t find it again. He may have missed it by 20 seconds but PRed by a minute 12!  That is huge!  These kids are rocking at the right time! The real test will be tomorrow when they have to turn around at 8:30 and run the 5K at PV,” says Head Coach Jason Covarrubias.

"What a weekend we had!  From Rice to PV, our kids got out there and competed with a lot of NCAA DI schools.  Our poise and desire to get better every day showed that we deserved be there!  This is just a product of hard work and it paid off today!  We had 3 new school records set in the sprints, a few nearing qualifying marks, a lot of top 3 finishers, and impressively enough with finished 5th place over all with (28 points for the men and 27 for the women)!  We got better and with the toughest part of our schedule coming up after the Easter, I think we are ready!," says Head Coach Jason Covarrubias
