Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently ranked in the top three universities to receive an online Bachelor’s degree in Human Services by Online Schools Report .

The ranking was established through a combination of data points including:

• school-wide student satisfaction – A combined score from RateMyProfessors.com and StudentsReview.com
• admission rate – The actual percentage of students who applied who then got accepted in the 2016-2017 school year. Reported by the National Center for Education Statistics.
• online presence – For bachelor’s degree rankings, the number of online bachelor’s programs offered at the university
• Popularity at school – The percentage of students at that school who graduated with a degree from the ranked program’s department in 2017
• Department size – The number of online degrees offered within the ranked program’s department
• Median debt by program – The average debt for students who graduated with that degree at that school

Human Services can be considered the ideal field of study for those who enjoy finding practical solutions and practices to improve the lives of others. Many of these individuals pursue careers as caseworkers, intake specialists, and more. Because of their expertise in understanding human behavior and practical relational problem-solving, Human Services degree holders can become excellent leaders and often heads of nonprofit organizations.

SAGU provides four different tracks for our online Bachelor’s in Human Services (HS) degree. HS Students can choose to specialize in Counseling, Criminal Justice, Psychology or Social Work. Because Human Services is such a broad field, students may focus on diverse careers in the community, church, and parachurch programs.

This degree is also transfer-flexible meaning students can transfer a high amount of credit into the program.

SAGU offers this degree 100 percent online and online tuition has recently been reduced from $499 per credit hour as opposed to $575 per credit hour. This reduction is a value of up to $10,000 on a 4-year degree!
