Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently ranked amongst several other reputable higher education institutions for having some of the fastest online bachelor’s degree programs in the nation.
The ranking study was conducted by Learn.org , a website that specializes in connecting students with top schools. In this study, SAGU was ranked 10th out of the 25 institutions that were listed.

Learn considered a wide range of factors in performing this study, including accelerated programs, accreditation, experience credits, flexible credit transferability, and affordable costs. According to this online resource, these elements help guarantee the success of fast-tracked online learning.
At SAGU, students can select from several transfer-friendly degrees to maximize the credit they earned from other institutions.
To provide a smooth and effective degree completion process, the university also provides:
- opportunities for students to earn credit for life experience to reduce the number of credit hours needed to graduate
- shorter A and B sessions within semesters, allowing students to complete courses more quickly in a focused timeframe
- a substantial schedule of online courses in the summer, enabling students to progress towards degree completion throughout the entire year
