Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently ranked for having one of the best online counseling degree programs in the nation.
The ranking from Study.com considered factors such as accessibility, affordability, and quality of education. They also used criteria taking into account the type of degree offered, online support services available, financial help the university offers and what kind of counseling licensure the program leads to.
Study.com specifically mentioned the variety of counseling degrees the university offers from a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and an Associate of Science in Addictions Counseling.
SAGU provides two different tracks for bachelor’s degrees in counseling with a pre-professional option and a bachelor’s with a minor for greater degree personalization.
The university also offers a Master’s Degrees for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Human Services Counseling (Non-Clinical). The clinical mental health counseling degree option will prepare you as a professional counselor with a biblically-based view of humankind. The Master of Science in Human Services Counseling provides counseling knowledge and skills to serve human service agencies and institutions.
*SAGU is dropping online tuition from $575 to $499 per credit hour beginning Fall 2019. This reduction results in a value of up to $10,000 on a 4-year degree.
