Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was ranked among the top 25 online colleges and schools in Texas for 2020 by Study.com .
Study compiled the rankings based on factors such as accessibility, affordability, and quality of education. Study also examined the support services and resources institutions provide for their distance-learning students, including free online tutoring, writing help and career development assistance.
Based on this methodology, SAGU’s Online Learning was ranked third in the state! The institution was listed alongside a number of reputable and respected higher education institutions including Texas Tech University , Texas A&M University , and many others.
SAGU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate-lev el online degree programs to prepare students for careers in fields such as criminal justice, elementary education, marketing, and biblical studies.
With over 25 years of experience providing distance education and more than 50 online degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate level, SAGU has numerous resources for its online learning community.
Study specifically noted the caliber of SAGU’s online resources including the Learning Centers and the Nelson Memorial Library .
- SAGU’s Learning Centers, founded on example and modeling, are part of the academic program of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and are open to all students. The Learning Centers consist of the Math Center, the Writing Center, and the Achievement Center. Services include individual and group tutoring and academic skills development.
- The institution’s Nelson Memorial Library provides access to a variety of digital and physical resources. Students can conduct online article, book and database searches from any convenient location.
SAGU’s online tuition rate for undergraduate degrees recently decreased from $575 per credit hour to $499 per credit hour. The reduced rate drops the price of a 4-year degree by nearly $10,000!
