Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s basketball Dallas Christian College Texas Snowstorm

Per the tradition, SAGU fans threw ping pong balls onto the court after Isaak Rowe scored the Lions first basket of the game around 30 seconds into play.

The Lions firmly stayed on top throughout the game and were able to extend their lead to 20 after a basket by Dominique Josephs with six minutes left in the first half.  At halftime, SAGU was ahead 45-24.

With four minutes left to play, SAGU’s Adrian Palacios made a basket to put SAGU ahead 81-55. DCC never let up and were able to come within 15 points by the end of the game.

SAGU’s Keyunta Watkins led the lions with 18 points and two steals. Kentton Williams added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Josh Williams had 15 points and two steals.

DCC’s D. Collins came off the bench to lead all scorers with 23 points.

The undefeated Lions will next play at Wiley College on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 7:30pm.  Wiley is currently 1-0 after beating Dallas Christian 103-72.
