Waxahachie, Texas — January 15, 2013 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University’s (SAGU) men’s basketball team is currently first in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) with a 14-3 record and ranked 17th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
With 13 games left, Head Men’s Basketball Coach Donnie Bostwick is hopeful. “We have three very difficult road games coming up against Jarvis Christian College, Texas College and Wiley College,” Bostwick shared. “We have a long stretch of home games after that, and God willing, we have continued success.”
He continued, “The conference race is still wide open with 13 more games to go and seven teams still in the race,” Bostwick shared. “Every game is as important as the next one. We have to play one game at a time and enjoy the journey.”
