SAGU Men’s Soccer Seniors

Siloam Springs, AR – Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) traveled to Siloam Springs, Arkansas to take on John Brown University (JBU) in the opening round of the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Tournament. The Lions came in as the #8 seed with a (3-13, 2-7) record while JBU earned the #1 seed with a record of (15-3, 8-1). The Lions battled hard but their season came to an end with a 3-2 loss to JBU.

Lions Review:

  • The teams combined for 34 fouls in the match
  • SAGU committed a couple of costly fouls which led to two penalty kicks both covered by Jacob Zamarron .
  • SAGU scored twice even though they only took four shots on goal throughout the contest.
