Dallas, Texas- November 14, 2015- The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s basketball team improved to 4-1 after topping Dallas Christian College for the second time in the young season.  The Lions beat DCC, 97-75.

“We played well at times. Other than too many turnovers, I felt we made some progress. Isaak, Tyler, Remington and Emmanuel all stepped up big. As a team we had three double doubles and Isaak really added some nice passes,” says head coach Donnie Bostwick.

Isaak Rowe led the Lions in scoring with 23 points, he also added five assist and seven rebounds.  Four others scored in double digits; Tyler Pate and Micah Gentry had 15 points, Emmanuel Adoyi had 14 points and Remington Mitchell added 10 points.  Pate and Adoyi each had 10 rebounds for the Lions.

A little over a week ago SAGU beat DCC at home, 92-71.  On Tuesday, November 17, 2015 the Lions will play at Jarvis Christian College at 7:30pm.  JCC is currently 1-0 for the season.
