Only six minutes into the game, SAGU’s Bryan Callejas assisted Herberth Gomez in the first goal of the game.  Bryan Callejas picked up another assist when Isai Bonilla-Velasquez scored at the 15 minute mark.

Right after half, Herberth Gomez returned the favor and assisted Isai Bonilla-Velasquez in the third goal of the game.  Gomez picked up another assist when Jose Candelas scored the final goal of the game.

The Lions were dominant in the attack.  They had 27 shots compared to JCC’s 7.

SAGU goalkeeper Edgar Chavez one save and Matthew Crow had four.

On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Lions will begin Sooner Athletic Conference play.  They will travel to play Wayland Baptist (4-3-1) at 5pm.
