Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) baseball Southwestern Christian University Sooner Athletic Conference

Despite the lopsided score in SGU’s favor, SAGU was the first team to score.  The Lions scored their only run in the top of the second.  With two outs, SAGU’s Griffin Glenn singled to right field. SCU went onto outhit SAGU 13-4, including four doubles.

Tanner Lindle led the Lions in hitting, going one for three with one RBI.

Collin Gifford started on the mound for SAGU and pitched three and two/thirds innings, Ty Behringer pitched one and one/third inning and Spenser Hart pitched the final three innings.

SCU’s Jason Braziel pitched the entire game, picking up the win on the mound.

The Lions will play the final two games on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Game one begins at 1pm.
