Waxahachie, Texas – February 3 rd , 2018, – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Men’s Basketball team topped Oklahoma Panhandle State University 129 – 62, on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions ran away with the points early in the game. The score at the half was 70-25. The final score of the bout was 129-62.

Freshman Cody Farmer led the Lions in scoring with 32 points on 10 of 12 shooting behind the arc. Farmer hit his first 10 3-point field goal attempts.

“It was an awesome team performance.  Everyone got a chance to get involved. Great sharp shooting from Cody Farmer and playmaking from Joshua Kashila. Glad the guys came out and executed the game plan well. We are looking forward to where this team can go,” says SAGU Head Coach Delton Deal.

The Lions will play Southwestern Christian University in the Sheaffer Center on February 8 th , 2018 at 8:00 P.M.
