SAGU Adds $4,000 Grant for Christian High School GraduatesWaxahachie, Texas - March 15, 2017 - Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) is adding a grant for graduates of Christian high schools. New on-campus undergraduate students who graduate from a Christian high school will receive $1,000 per year ($500 per semester). This grant is renewable, allowing students to save up to $4,000 on a 4-year degree.

Qualification for the grant is simple. New students who graduate from a Christian high school and meet the academic requirements will receive the grant.

Vice President of Enrollment Eddie Davis says, “As a Christian University, SAGU values Christian education at all levels. In many cases, we know that families have sacrificed to send their students to Christian high schools. SAGU wants to partner with these families by offering a $4,000 grant to show our support for the investment they have already made in their child's education.”

SAGU fosters a Christian community for students seeking education in a Christ-centered environment. Students will learn from professors who are invested in their spiritual well-being as well as their education.

SAGU is currently receiving applications for Summer and Fall 2017. Funds for this grant are limited, so students are encouraged to apply early.
