Oklahoma City, OK- The Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) revealed its 2019-20 Women’s All-Conference Team and individual awards earlier this week. The awards were voted on by the SAC head coaches. Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) had two players that were recognized by the conference for their accomplishments this season.

Sydney Meador named to SAC Honorable Mention Team

Players & Awards

  • Lexi Rich ( SR/San Antonio, TX ) was named to the SAC All-Conference Second Team. Rich led the Lady Lions in points per game (19.1) assists per game (3.2). Rich shot 36% from the floor including 32% from behind the arc as she nailed 88 triples on the season. She also became SAGU’s All-Time Leading Scorer this season.
  • Sydney Meador ( JR/Denton, TX ) was recognized as an Honorable Mention Selection by the SAC. Meador was the second-leading scorer for the Lady Lions at 15.3 PPG. She shot 38% from the field including 33% from distance. Meador was tough and changed the game in multiple ways as she averaged 5.0 RPG and 1.4 APG.
