Senior point guard scored 40 and 32 points in two games

WAXAHACHIE, Texas — On the strength of averaging 36 points per game last week, Dominique Rambo , a 5’10 guard from Southwestern Assemblies of God University , was named the Player of the Week in the Sooner Athletic Conference .
Rambo poured in 40 points on the road on Thursday as the Lions won 89-76 against the team to beat, Oklahoma Baptist University .
Then, on Saturday at home, the senior from Dallas accounted for 32 points, seven steals and seven assists in an 82-77 triumph over Mid-America Christian University .
According to the announcement on the SAC website; http://www.soonerathletic.org , Rambo averaged five rebounds, five assists and 4.5 steals per game during games played between December 30 and January 5.

Rambo played his high school career at Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas. His first year of college was at Oklahoma Wesleyan University .
A year ago he was named First Team All-Red River Athletic Conference as well as the RRAC’s Most Valuable Player .
He averaged 19.5 ppg as the Lions won their first RRAC championship in basketball en route to a 33-5 season.
His 3.55 steals per game was tops in the league and his 135 for the season led the NAIA.
Rambo’s highest scoring output came in March when he rattled home 43 against Texas Wesleyan University in the RRAC tournament.
He also had 33 versus Our Lady of the Lake University , 32 vs. University St. Thomas and 31 when Huston-Tillotson University visited Waxahachie.
