Waxahachie, Texas- April 21, 2016- The week worth of rain that has fallen over north Texas has put a damper on the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) softball and baseball schedules. All weekend softball games have been postponed. Baseball games have been moved to Grand Prairie.
The Lady Lions were supposed to play on Friday, April 22, 2016 for their Senior Day. The game has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 3, 2016. They will play Southwestern Christian at 2pm at SAGU.
The Softball team will also make-up a rain-out against Bacone College on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Game time is at 2pm. They have moved Senior Day against Bacone College.
Saturday and Sunday’s baseball games will now be played at AirHogs Stadium in Grand Prairie. The Lions will play University of Science & Arts-Oklahoma on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 9pm. There is a chance the game will begin sooner. On Sunday, the doubleheader will begin at 1pm.
