Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) volleyball team Oklahoma City University Sooner Athletic Conference

Raquel Case , Katie Ryan , Caitlin Paschall ,and Emmalee Smith were all honored at Saturday’s game.  Head Coach Hank Moore is thankful for what each of the seniors has brought to the volleyball program, “I’m so proud of the four seniors and all that they have accomplished. Each of them has contributed so much to SAGU. All four of them have left their finger prints on our program.”

After coming off a loss the night before to Wayland Baptist , OCU’s game made for an end to a tough week where SAGU went 1-3. After this week’s record the Lady Lion’s overall record stands at 17-12 and 7-7 in the SAC.

For offensive play, Summer Skillern led the team in kills with six and Molly McBride trailed closely behind with five. SAGU volleyball had 19 kills in total this game.

As for defense, freshman Kali Shaw led in digs with eight total, Emmalee Smith followed with seven. Defense at the net was also present with seven blocks total.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, SAGU will travel to Texas Wesleyan University (21-10 overall and 10-4 in the SAC). Game time is at 7:00pm.
