Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) places as a finalist for Ellis County’s Best of 2022. SAGU ranks along with other local higher education institutions in the area such as Navarro College and Texas State Technical College.

Ranking occurs by polling the local community, asking them to vote for the best businesses and organizations in the area. Through nominations, and various rounds of the contest, they choose in more than 150 categories in Home Services & Finance, Kids & Education, People & Places, Services, and much more. The Best of Ellis County 2022 is a compilation of the finalists in each category.

For nearly 100 years, SAGU has been committed to offering quality, Christian-based, degrees to those seeking to live out their calling in ministry and the marketplace.

A recent SAGU student comments, “The faculty at SAGU cares for their students and wants to see them succeed and see them grow with God. If you want to pursue your higher education in an environment that will lift you up, this is the place for you.”

SAGU is honored to be a finalist in this year’s Best of Ellis County and looks forward to many more years of offering a Christian, private education at an affordable price.
