Dave Roever to Speak at Southwestern Assemblies of God University Homecoming Banquet

Waxahachie, TX – Thursday, October 19, 2023– Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) is thrilled to announce that Dave Roever, a distinguished evangelist and motivational speaker, will be the guest speaker for the Homecoming Celebration Banquet at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU), scheduled on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 6pm.

Roever, a Vietnam War veteran who survived severe injuries, has since dedicated his life to sharing his story of hope, resilience, and faith. His testimony is a powerful reminder of how God can use even the darkest experiences to bring light and hope into the world.

Roever started his career as a public school teacher before he was drafted into the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He suffered severe injuries when a grenade exploded in his hand, leading to numerous surgeries and a long road to recovery.

Despite these challenges, Roever chose not to let his circumstances define him. Instead, he used his experiences as a platform to inspire others. Roever is founder and president of three non-profit corporations: Roever Evangelistic Association, Roever Foundation, and REAP International – all based in Fort Worth, Texas. He is also the co-founders of Eagles Summit Ranch in Colorado, as well as Eagles Summit Ranch in Texas, where they help physically and emotionally injured servicemen and women “find their way home.”

Join us on this special occasion as we celebrate our homecoming and honor the remarkable journey of Dave Roever. His inspirational message will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on everyone present.
