Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s soccer team was on the road in an conference matchup against Wayland Baptist University  (WBU). The Lions were able to settle in early and control the tempo on both sides, but a 38th minute goal by WBU put the Lions down 1-0 going into halftime. In the second half mental mistakes by the Lions helped WBU score four unanswered goals; the final score was 5-0. In the final road game of the season, the Lions will head to Siloam Springs, Arkansas on March 23rd,  to play against John Brown University.
