Waxahachie, TX – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Men’s Basketball program was pick third in voting amongst the teams in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) this past fall. Last season the Lions finished an incredible run in the (SAC) conference tournament, winning their second SAC Tournament Title in three years. In a brief showing, the Lions competed in one game this fall. The Lions controlled the game from the tip, opening the game on a 22-3 run; the final score was 91-57.
