The All-Sooner Athletic Conference awards have been released with three of the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s basketball players landing on the list. Lexi Rich has been named one of two guards on first team All-SAC where she leads the league in points per game with 19.65 and total points with 609. She is now the single-season scoring record at SAGU where she broke Chelsea Jones record last week. In the SAC, she is 1st in free throw percentage at 88%, 1st in 3-pointers made per game (3.58) and total made threes with 111.  Fifth in assists with 3.58 per game and 19th in defensive rebounds per game with 3.81. She also had four of the top 10 scoring nights on the scoring; most points in a conference game with 39 points, 3rd with 33, 4th at 32, and 10th with 30 against Mid America Christian .

Third team all-conference forward, Jenna Price . Price is second in total rebounds with 300 and 10.0 rebounds per game, 4th with 1.17 blocks game and 5th total blocks with 35, 5th in free throw percentage at 79%, then finished 19th in scoring with 362 total points and 20th at 12.07 points per game. The junior from Midlothian, TX , also finished 2nd in double-doubles on the season with 11 tied with Baily Cameron from John Brown University . She had the most rebounds in a game at Langston University in February with 20.

Honorable mention guard, Sydney Meador . Meador is a returning sophomore from Denton Guyer High School in Denton, TX . In the SAC, she is 2nd in free throw percentage at 84.6% and 18th in offensive rebounds at 1.73 per game. She just received NCCAA National Player of the Week last week and is averaging 11.7 points per game on the season shooting 39.8% from the field and knocking down 33.3% of her threes.

The Lady Lions season continues tomorrow night as they play Oklahoma City University for the semi-finals of the SAC Conference Tournament . Tipoff for this battle is at 3 pm and the winner will play in the championship at 1 pm the following day against Wayland Baptist University or University of Science and Arts .
