Texarkana, Texas- September 21, 2016- The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s soccer team has remained unbeaten as they improve to 7-0-1 for the season. The Lions topped Texas A&M-Texarkana, 5-1.
The Lions were able to score fast and furious in the first half. They were able to follow-up with one goal in the second half. The scoring for the Lions is as follows:

At the very end of the game, TAMUT’s Dylan Murray scored on a penalty kick.
SAGU’s goalkeeper, Edgar Chavez , had three saves.
The Lions are currently no. 7 in the NCCAA division I national poll.
On Saturday, September 24, 2016 the Lions will travel to play Jarvis Christian College at 3pm. Jarvis Christian is currently 1-5.
