Waxahachie, Texas – September 14 th , 2017 – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men’s soccer team tied 1-1 with the Huston-Tillotson Rams on Thursday afternoon.

The men’s team fell short in the beginning with Huston-Tillotson scoring a goal midway through the first half. Possession was a constant battle between both the Rams and Lions.

Both teams went to double overtime with neither team capitalizing on another goal. Goalie Edgar Chavez made a total of three saves in these final crucial minutes.
