Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Volleyball Mid-America Christian University Sooner Athletic Conference

With a 13-3 record, SAGU is making history with their best start in program history.

The Lady Lions defeated MACU 25-13, 25-15, and 25-14. MACU is now 2-8 on the season, 1-3 in conference play.

SAGU jumped off to a strong start early in the first set, going on a 7-1 run. Senior Jessica Sodich led the Lady Lions once again with 14 kills and seven digs. Kali Shaw finished with 11 kills and nine digs, barely coming up short of a double-double. Paulyae Dawkins contributed seven kills, one solo block, and two block assists. Mollie McBride finished with seven kills and four digs. Sophia Ivy had 39 assists and two block assists.

MACU was led by Breeana Fritschow with 10 kills and five digs. Melissa Hoppal had 22 assists and nine digs.

The Lady Lions will take on the University of Science and Arts Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Oklahoma at 1 pm.
