Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer Texas-A&M-Texarkana

“It was a head-to-head game against a team that was determined to defend their home field.  We were able to grab some take-aways , which will equip us for our next opponent,” says head coach Paul Hason .

TAMUT scored just three minutes before halftime, to make the score 1-0.  Near the 60 minute mark, they were able to score again.

SAGU’s Aliyah Mora scored off of an assist from Laura Sturgeon in the 64 th minute.

The Lady Lions were outshot 19-7.  TAMUT also had five corner kicks compared to SAGU’s zero.

On Saturday, September 24, 2016, SAGU will travel to play Jarvis Christian (1-5).  Game time is at 2pm.
