Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer

The Lady Lions exchanged possession with Randall University, which resulted with the Lady Lions scoring two goals in the first half. The ladies came back onto the field for the second half with determination to finish the game on top.

The Lady Lions dominated with a final score of 7-0.  The seven goals the Lady Lions scored were made by the following players: Senior Kaitlyn Flippin, Junior Rachel Freed, Senior Nadine Jaimes, Freshman Catherine Turner, Freshman Lesley Zamarripa, and Sophomore Natalie Solario.

Head Coach Paul Hason stated, “We played a well-coached team that played with grit just like we do. When you go head-to-head with such an opponent, it’s going to be a battle between mind, heart, and body.”

The Lady Lions look forward to their first Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) game against John Brown at home September 28 th , 2017 at 1:00 P.M.
