Waxahachie, TX Kyleigh Cano FR/ Wylie, TX) Sooner At hletic Conference Offensive Player of the
Week. Kyleigh has set the conference on fire with her offensive ability and as a freshman has led our Lady Lions in scoring. Last week against Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) she delivered by assisting on the first goal after LSUS took a quick lead 2-0. Then she scored the second goal to tie the game up and shift the momentum towards the Lady Lions who went on to win the game. In the last three games she has scored a total of 4 goals, 2 were game winners. Also, she added with 3 assists in the last three games. As a freshman she has come in and made a huge impact on the team. Kyleigh will continue to improve; this won’t be the last time she wins this award. The Next Step
- On Friday, November 13 th the Lady Lions will host Mid-America Christian University at SAGU Soccer Field. Start time is scheduled for 1:00pm. The game will be live streamed.
