Waxahachie, Texas – September 12, 2016- The Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) has named Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer player, Nadine Jaimes , as the Offensive Player-of-the-Week.

The junior forward from Mesquite, Texas had three goals and two assists in games against Southwestern (Kansas), East Texas Baptist and LeTourneau (Texas).

“Nadine demonstrated her discipline, dedication and determination to be the best she can be throughout this past summer due to her off-season training mentality.  What you see today in terms of her performances is the result of numerous training hours invested by her,” says SAGU women’s soccer coach Paul Hason .

Jaimes has now scored eight goals for the season, which ranks her no. seven in the NAIA in total goals.  In 2015, Jaimes became SAGU’s leading scorer of all time with 14 goals.

On Thursday, September 15, 2016, Jaimes and the Lady Lions will travel to Austin, Texas to take on Huston-Tillotson.  Game time is at 2pm.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a private, Christian university located 30 minutes south of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Waxahachie, Texas.
