The NAIA National Cross Country field has been set and Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Zackery Hammond and Adrian Cedilla has been invited as individual competitors for the national run. The 8-kilometer race is at 10:30 am in Cedar Rapids, Iowa , while Oklahoma City University represents the Sooner Athletic Conference and Martin Harding from Wayland Baptist University, Ben Martin from John Brown University and the two SAGU Lions represent the SAC in Iowa. Hammond and Cedilla just came off of big finishes at the NCCAA National Championship in Point Lookout, MO , with Hammond finishing 3rd with a time of 26:16:18 during the 8k and Cedillo finished less than 25 seconds behind the freshman. This helped accomplish SAGU’s first and second NCCAA All-American awards for these finishes in Missouri.
