Greenville, SC – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) revealed their list of Scholar-Athletes for Baseball on Thursday. Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) had four Baseball players receive honors.

“We take pride in the high standards the players in our program hold themselves to on and off the field. The consistency and intentionality these four show as teammates, students, and as young men is obvious to anyone that interacts with them. We are proud of how they met the challenge of this semester given the unusual circumstances.”

Future Forecast

The SAGU Baseball program will look to add names to the Scholar-Athlete list in the future. They have 19 players that carry a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher.

SAGU will travel back home as they will host a three-game series against Oklahoma City University. The first game will be held on Friday, March 13 th at 7:00 pm.
