Sooner Athletic Conference 2015-2016 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Team Southwestern Assemblies of God University Rishaad Alexander Emmanuel Adoyi Jason Gentry Keyunta Watkins

“I look at individual honors as team honors,” says SAGU head coach Donnie Bostwick , “These four young men that were chosen are all well-deserving because they put in an extraordinary amount of time and effort to help our team succeed. I’m very proud of each and every one of them.”

Rishaad Alexander is a 5’10 guard from Chicago, Illinois.  He averages 11.8 points and over six assists per game.  Alexander currently ranks no. five in the NAIA for assists per game.  Against Oklahoma City University, he scored a season-high 28 points.

Emmanuel Adoyi is a 6’5 forward from Little Rock, Arkansas.  Adoyi currently ranks no. 22 in total rebounds for the season with 243.  He also ranks no. 30 in the NAIA for total steals (47).  Adoyi is averaging over 10 points and eight rebounds per game.

Jason Gentry is a 6’0 guard from Hondo, Texas.  Gentry is currently averaging over ten points per game.  He is ranked no. 35 in NAIA in 3-point field goal percentage per game and he is averaging 36% from the three point range.

Keyunta Watkins is a 5’8 guard from Trophy Club, Texas.  Watkins is averaging nearly 14 points per game.  Watkins is currently shooting at 41% from the three point line.  His shooting from behind the arc ranks him as no. nine in the NAIA in three-point field goals made per game (3.038).  He also ranks no. 46 in steals per game (1.615).

SAGU will begin their post-season play on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 when they play Bacone College at 7pm.
