The Flying Queens showed why they are the eighth ranked team in scoring per game, averaging over 80 points.  This was the fourth time this season they scored over 100 points.

Within the first four minutes of play, the Flying Queens jumped out to an 11 point lead and dominated the rest of the game.

SAGU struggled getting shots to fall.  The Lady Lions shot 28% from the field, going 19-for-68.  Three point shooting wasn’t any better, they went four-for-22.

The Lady Lions were led in scoring by senior Charity Page with 19 points.  Senior Laken Ward had 15 points and ten rebounds. Alexis McAfee and Kayla Bise both added eight points.

WBU had six players scoring in double digits. Maci Merket led with 16 points.

The Lady Lions will travel to play Mid-America Christian University ( MACU) on Saturday, February 18, 2017.  MACU is currently in a three-way tie for fourth place in the SAC.
