The Lady Lions jumped out to the early lead and Nadine Jaimes scored two times within the first five minutes of play.  Jaimes’ first goal was scored off an assist by Rachel Freed.

SAGU’s lead extended to 3-0 in the 21 st minute of play when Kaitlyn Flippin scored her first goal.

Paul Quinn kicked their only goal 1:30 before halftime when Joya found the back of the net.  The halftime score was 3-1.

In the second half SAGU didn’t let much time elapse before scoring their fourth goal.  Six minutes into the half, PQC committed a foul and SAGU’s Lauryn Cabudol got a free kick.  Cabudol scored the goal, giving the Lady Lions the 4-1 upper hand.

SAGU’s Kaitlyn Flippin scored again with 18:41 and 38:55 left in the second half, completing her first hat trick of her college career.

The Lady Lions will travel to Kansas to take on Friends University on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 6pm.  They will also play Southwestern (Kansas) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 6pm.
