Waxahachie, TX- This week standouts Faith Marroquin and Tori Burns set the standard for the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Volleyball team. Tori played a very strong match and did a great job of setting the table for the hitters. For her efforts she has received Setter of the Week in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Faith played her best match of the season. Her dig numbers were outstanding but the .973 passing numbers set her apart on the floor Friday night. Faith's serve numbers were also very strong. The Defender of the Week belongs to her. It was an all-around strong showing for the Volleyball program. The Lady Lions were able to take down Mid-America Christian University (MACU) in 4 sets, after losing the first set the Lady Lions won the next three and cruised to a victory.
